ResponsibilitiesSBLIG is the insurance broker for the SGPB clients. It provides services of life insurance brokerage in open architecture, negotiates prices and insures the right distribution and policies corresponding the client’s needs.

The V.I.E. Insurance Officer will:

• Prepare the subscription files to send to bankers
• Coordinate the follow-up of files with private banks and SG insurers by checking feasibility and pricing conditions
• Interface between insurance engineering and operations
• Check the completeness of the subscription kits and compile the AML file for presentation to the SGLIB acceptance committee
• Participate progressively in the insurance engineering of the files during the subscription and during the operations on the contract and the formalization of the obligation of advice
• Contribute to the legal and tax monitoring of SGLIB’s target markets

Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.

Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.

• Graduate with a Master’s degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Wealth Management/Law/Insurance field
• A previous experience in Insurance/Brokerage/Private Banking would be appreciated

Language skills:

• Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Meticulous and attention to detail
• Strong client orientation
• Strong organization capabilities

The VIE assignment in a nutshellThis VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
